  • The Best Night (and concert) of My Life!

    Tonight in Indianapolis guaranteed me to be a permanent "Die Hard Carrie Fan for Life." Winning the Meet and Greet was a true blessing, but there were more blessings headed my way than I expected. First, I met a great girl (named Whitney), who enjoys Carrie and enjoyed the M&G just as much as I did. Turns out, we even go to the same college together, and never had a clue. lol I hope we get to hang out again soon Whitney ;) Second, I was literally on cloud 9 knowing that I was about to meet Carrie. The anxiety kept building with every elevator and hallway that we passed through. Me and Whitney were absolutely ecstatic! And then, it happened, after being put in a temporary over flow room lol...we met Carrie! Carrie was by far one of the sweetest people I've met. Especially for a celebrity. Carrie shook my hand, and we chatted for a bit, she autographed a picture I'd brought for her to sign, and then she even personalized it to me with a sweet message, without me even asking her to do so :) Then the fan club manager took a picture of me and Carrie together, and it turned out great! My friends and family said it was one of the happiest pictures they had seen of me in years! Carrie only had black and silver sharpies to sign autographs with, so I gave her my blue one that she used for my picture, and she said, "That is so sweet! Thank you!" and then she gave me a hug :) I'll never forget that moment, and getting to meet my new friend Whitney was a definite plus. I just wish we'd had more time to hang out, but I'm sure we will again soon. Third, it was time for the concert! My ticket said F-1 (floor) Row 2, which is tremendous at any concert, but there was a big surprise...due to the stage arrangement, Row 2 was actually FRONT ROW! Sons of Sylvia certainly impressed me, Craig Morgan sang better than he did on his albums (in my opinion) but Carrie by far had the most singing talent of any artist that I have ever witnessed or heard! She's way way way better than her albums, and the albums just don't give her justice. When she looked my way, I waved to her, and she recognized me from the M&G and smiled and waved happily back to me :) And...just when I thought the night couldn't get any better...one of her roadies gave me her guitar pick that she used during the concert!!! All in all, I simply cannot wait for Carrie to come back to Indianapolis, and I hope it's real soon. The sound system she had was one of the cleanest sounding and clearest of any settings I've ever heard, and there was nothing at this concert that didn't impress me. Carrie, you rock and god bless you. And Whitney, you also rock and god bless you too! Tonight was a definite 11 out of 10 on my score book. CARRIE ROCKS! Thank you all for reading :)

  • I WON A MEET & GREET WITH CARRIE!!!

    Tonight just made my entire life worth be thankful for even more. I opened up my email tonight, and an email saying that I won a meet & greet pass with Carrie was there waiting for me! If it wasn't for the blessings of the lord, and the true respect and loyalty of Carrie, none of this would have been possible. 2010, to me, has been just as I prayed it would be...the best year I have ever lived YET! I have 4 very important people to thank...the Lord, Carrie, the Fan Club, and all of you awesome Carrie fans! I pray that all of you will have a safe and enjoyable time at whichever concert you attend, and I pray that you all will get the chance to meet Carrie. God bless you all, and thank you to everyone again for making me the happiest man on earth! -Joshua

    I guess there are a lot of Josh Shelton’s out there LoL! I’m having a little trouble finding you! Maybe you could search for me, Ashley Freeman, my profile pic is of me and Carrie as well! Yes she did Win ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR! Super EXCITED! I Will hold you to your word about the seat and backstage pass! LoL! :) No, in truth though it would be really cool if we could meet up someday, its been really nice talking to you! I hope we can continue to talk a lot more once we find each other on facebook and continue through the fan site! Well have a nice week!     Well your welcome for the kind words!!!!! I know Carrie won Entertainer of the Year!!!!!!!!!!! I voted constantly the whole time!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for her!!!!! Awww!!! That is so sweet that you would dedicate a song to me!!! That would be so cool and I would really appreciate it!!!! It is hard to find nice people, but you are definantly one of the nicest people that I have talked to!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Also thanks for feeling like I deserve it!! lol

    You're so very welcome!!!! :) Music is my life too!!! I love it! I listen to music and sing all the time!!!! I really do hope that I can see you on stage sometime!! That would be awesome!!! I know I can't believe that it has been a year either. I'm so excited to watch it though and to see Carrie perform!!!! I can see why you would be comfortable singing in front of a large crowd because there are more people to look at and they do cheer you on and everything.     Oh my gosh!!!!!!!!! That is so awesome!!! Congratulations!!!!! I'm so happy for you!! I really hope that you win! Wow that is a lot of people to sing in front of. I don't think I could sing in front of that many people. lol That is just so cool and I'm sure that you are glad you went there instead of the Military show. lol Something else is also very exciting......The ACM's are tonight!!!!!!!!! lol I can't wait to watch it and I really hope that Carrie wins all of the awards that she is up for!!! I really want her to win Entertainer of the Year!!!! She deserves everything. She works so hard and does so many things for her fans!!! :)

    Ha! That’s a good song! You Got to Love Kenny Chesney! :) Business Management sounds great a lot of my friends here are going for that too. That’s really cool that you are into music and can sing, I loving music and singing but my voice would not get me very far! LoL! But I wish you the best of luck with all your goals, hopes, and dreams! Especially with performing in Nashville! That would be amazing! If you made it that far, and I hope you do, I could be like hey I talked to that guy over Carrie’s Fan Site! Who knows, WHEN you make it (I’m saying when because I have faith you will make!), maybe you will be lucky enough to do a duet with Carrie! That would be awesome! :)

    Oh yea I am glad that it is the weekend too!! I could also use a break from school. lol Well that should be fun!!! I can't believe it only comes once a year. You should have fun though!! Uh things with me are good. I don't think that I am doing much this weekend, but I do have my cousin's first birthday party to go to tomorrow. lol
